1) NSYNC – You Got It

A staple of my childhood. NSYNC will get you in the mood to feel the burn.

2) Eminem – Lose Yourself

One of the most classic motivational songs of all time. There’s no one who knows how to spit a rhyme like Eminem.

3) John Mellencamp – Hurts So Good

When you’ve upped your weights another five pounds and the veins in your eyes are popping a little, just think, “Oh baby, it hurts so good!”

4) Without You – David Guetta feat. Usher

Can’t have a playlist without an obnoxious dance track.

5) Fun. – Stars

Fun. is just that – a really fun band. Some Nights is obviously a great song, but this one’s thumping bass and sparkling synth undertones are even more unique and upbeat, I think. Plus, there’s actual applause in the track, so you can pretend your efforts are being rewarded.

6) The Veronicas – Untouched

Girl power anthem FTW.

7) The Lumineers – Submarines

The Lumineers are known for their mellow, folky, Mumford-and-Sons-esque guitar, but the booming piano in Submarines is really the attraction.

8) Shakira – Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)

Do it for Africa, guys.

9) The Offspring – Stuff is Messed Up

Amen.

10) Boston – Feelin’ Satisfied

Sometimes you just need to turn up the embarrassing Mom Music and make an absolute racket while you pump out those last ten reps.
