Workout Playlist #3

1) Ke$ha – Die Young

I secretly think Ke$ha is a genius. She has made a fortune on doing absolutely nothing except covering herself in glitter and warbling about drunken debauchery. It’s impressive, when you think about it.

2) Marilyn Manson – Sweet Dreams

If you want to feel like the fate of the world depends on the outcome of your workout, this epic Eurhythmics cover is perfect.

3) Disney’s Hercules – Zero to Hero

On every VAHZZZZ.

4) Maroon 5 – Never Gonna Leave This Bed

I pretty much hate M5, but this song has a good enough beat and is good for singing along, if you have the breath.

5) Bush – Machinehead

The guitar in this song is hella phat, yo. Bush is underrated for a lot of reasons, not least of which is their sensitivity and simultaneous will to rock your face off.

6) Mumford and Sons – Little Lion Man

This song is weirdly appropriate for running. Who knew the banjo could get you so motivated?

7) Atmosphere – Dreamer

The heartfelt words really make this little-known rap track by Atmosphere. You’ll seriously feel like he’s talking straight to you.

8) The Beatles – Back in the U.S.S.R.

Had to include some Beatles.

9) Avril Lavigne – Smile

Don’t hate.

10) Scorpions – Rock You Like a Hurricane

Sometimes there’s just nothing better to get you through the end of a hard workout than cheesy 80’s rock.
